Coins, Sweden. Erik XIV, SM 6b, 1 daler 1562. 28.97 g. Stockholm. First type year struck by dies engraved by Hohenauer, recognized by the most elaborated arms, very decorative! This specimen has excellent strikes on both sides. An absolutely minimal edge nick at 12h indicating a possiblity of the coin has been ring mounted. Notable, there are no signs of solder marks but only very slight traces of cleaning, now toned by age. A highly representative Daler of one of our most exciting hístorical monarks of Sweden.
