Britain. ★★/★/⊙. Post Offices Abroad, British Africa, etc. A beautiful collection, parallel mint and used housed in a hingeless Lindner album loaded with material. Please note that the mint, whether LH or MNH is presented in the transparent part of each page, the used is hinged underneath the transparent stamps, often the mint obscures the used, so please view carefully. Collection is from QV to QE2, loaded with high values on virtually every page. Countries include Bahrain, British Post Offices in the Levant inc QV 12 piastres on 2/6d, EDV11 12 piastres on 2/6d, KGV Seahorses complete 180 piastres on 10/-, straight line Levant o/p high values, through KGV1 Post Offices in Eastern Arabia, etc. Then British Bechuanaland QV onwards with different types o/ps, many better, B.M.A. and B.A. o/ps Eritrea, Somalia, M.E.F. again to KGV1 higher values to 10/-, postage dues complete, Kuwait high values galore inc regular KGV1, Festival KGV1, different types QEII o/ps etc. Also present Oil Rivers, Morocco Agencies with a similar pattern with further range of Seahorses, defins etc. Also seen Tangier Silver Wedding, further range of high value QE2, ending with Irish Republic Provisional o/ps again including Seahorses, finally ending with a cross-section of Zululand! Britain. ★★/★/⊙. 2 substantial bankers boxes well filled with material, representing a new issue service from a combination of suppliers, primarily Benham's Collectors Club. Countries represented are primarily GB, Channel Islands inc Alderney, Isle of Man, and a little British Europe Islands. This was sent to us without the new issue envelopes and invoices. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to reconstruct into the different categories. They include of course much Benham FDCs inc 'silks', their special event covers, presentation packs, new issues often in blocks of 4, particularly but not exclusively for the Channel Islands, etc. We are informed by the vendor that the new issue cost from Benhams alone ran to over £8000, however that cannot guaranteed by us, due to the chaotic presentation. A great lot for a stamp workaholic looking for a project with huge potential! Approx. 29 kg. Show less

Britain. Used. Astonishing accumulation used QV to QEII, essentially penny reds through to QEII well into the 2000s with about 300,000 stamps, housed in 21 boxes of various different sizes, chronologically organized. This represents a lifetimes work and when you see the lot you will understand why, it is a true labour of love! Nothing seems to be in particularly excess quantity, varying from a few to a 100 or so of each, all with SG number lined up, column after column for an easy cross referencing against SG. While QEII unsurprisingly has the best representation with many, many 1000s of commemorative sets complete, as well as definitives by the 1000s running through to high values from £1 to £10, there is also useful QV through EDVII/KGV/KGVI and varieties galore . There is a very conservative catalogue 'guesstimate' of around £200,000. All the work has been done and this turn-key stock is ready for immediate marketing on the internet, approval books or stamp shows, ideal for a dealer. Show less
