Tens of thousands of stamps, mostly housed on loose album pages and stock cards from the 19th century onwards, mint and used, housed in 2 substantial, filled to capacity banker boxes. The pages are not in any particular order, this represents a fabulous accumulation that would do very well on the internet, when scanned page for page. This has been put together over 15 years of auction buying and the vendor now feels he can never get round to processing it. Interesting material includes Bolivia 19th century coat of arms, Chile with a dozen or so Colon heads, both 5 imperf to research and much other 19th/20th century with scarce back of the book, Colombia from imperf classic onwards inc a range of departmentals, Costa Rica with a few dozen 19th century inc early issue o/ps well worth investigating, Cuba / Spanish West Indies extensive 19th century, Persia as far as we can se all genuine 19th/ early 20th century, Peru, etc, completely uncatalogued and worthwhile. Highlights include a selection of pmks and o/p types on kaisers yachts for DSWA. This is accompanied by postcards from early Durban through to WW2 high value censor covers South Africa, CGH to Port Said EDVII. Also strong in Southern Rhodesia/Rhodesia inc a pair of £10 coat of arms, revenue usage, Belgian Congo, etc, through to Ruanda Urundi, the former from 1886 with many attractive pmks on the pictorial issues, the latter with high value sets mint and used from 1923 onwards, etc. The collector clearly had an eye for the unusual for this continent, please inspect.
