Sweden. Collection cover 1918. The Swedish Åland Detachement 1918. A small collection mounted on pages consisting of used military stationeries Mu1, Mu2, MbK2, unused coupon, postcards etc. Mu1 cancelled Stockholm 13.4.18 with red Å + censor sign, MbK2 dated Mariehamn 17.4.18 cancelled "STOCKHOLM 30" with content "victory is on its way", Mu2 to Åland cancelled "STOCKHOLM 1" 29.4.18. Sweden sent military forces to the Åland Islands 1918 to protect the civilians from e.g. future terror by Russians, Red or White troops. Also some postcards depicting e.g. the Swedish warships, map, paper seals, articles, part of magazine "Veckojournalen" 1918 showing a fully equipped Swedish guard from Göta Life Guards on frontpage.
