South Africa. Cover on leaves. The Boer War (1899-1902). Collection on pages about the Boer War including censored mail, POW mail, postcards and a lot of different cancellations. We have seen 13 interesting postcards sent from a Swede in Durban 1901–02 to Sweden. All these with interesting writing about the ongoing war and some also depicts war scenes and military equipment. Also some POW mail Ceylon and St Helena and also some letters censored "OPENED UNDER MARTIAL LAW". A very good collection in wide range with a lot of material showing many different aspects of the mail and mail handling during the Boer War. Also including some history facts, map, articles and copies of stamps from catalogues to enhance the story. Please inspect! (81). Mostly fine quality.
