Under åren gick myntet från att vara stort och pampigt med vikten drygt 20 g till endast omkring hälften! Icke desto mindre, 2 marken 1754 är en relativt sällsynt representant för valören! 1+.

The denomination was introduced during the Dacke War in 1543 under Gustav I:s rule, see additional in depth text previously in this auction! Over time the 2 mark went from a large impressive coin of over 20 g to a smaller size with about half the weight! Nevertheless the 2 marken 1754 is a fairly scarce date of the denomination.
