Medals, non-regal, Britain. Eimer 1661, 'James Goodenough Prize' Medal 1894. Gold 22 carat, 69.55 g. Edge inscription 'Acting Sub Lieutenant Cyril Thomas Moulden Fuller R.N. 1894'. The title was named after James Graham Goodenough who was appointed commodore of Australian Station in 1873. By 1875, he was wounded by a poisonous arrow while conversing with the The Awaswas at Santa Cruz and died from tetanus a few days later. Minor hairlines and a reverse rim nick. In original box of issue. XF-UNC.
