Italy. Mostly used. Very engaging and interesting collection of several hundreds of stamps, nearly all one of a kind, mostly used and when so virtually all commercially used. Beginning with imperf issues from early 1860s from side margin perf 1862 40cts red used with cds, through 1863/77 complete to 2 lire, nearly complete 1867 through 1888, followed by overprints complete 1890/91 and the 5 lire, through to the 'valevole' this time mint, on to the 20th century with high values and page after page especially 1923 onwards, very strong, incl. propaganda of the faith, air mails incl. Zeppelins this time mint, first flight BA overprints complete, football 1934 and similarly air mail complete mint, further zeppelins and better sets to high values with many good items present, post WW2 again very strong 1949 complete to 100L and many of the good sets of the late 1940s early 1950s, page after page with no empty spaces. A lovely collection, a joy to view, completely uncatalogued.
