Click for photo 347K Sweden RUSSIA. Postal stationary card of Finnish type 4 kopek, cancelled STOCKHOLM 21.8.96, and side cancellation boxed FRÅN RYSSLAND, sent to Paris, France. The contents show that the card is dated in Turku and has most likely been transported directly Turku-Stockholm by boat and thus the FRÅN RYSSLAND cancellation is likely to have been incorrectly applied. Very unusual usage of the cancellation. It is also possible that the card has been transported from Turku via a Russian port and then to Stockholm (St. Petersburg-Stockholm route). (Reserve approx. € 29 / $33) 300 300
